Dear Students and Parish Family,
It is with great joy and thanksgiving to God, that we announce the long-awaited consecration of the new Our Lady of Wisdom Church will be held on Friday, November 20, 2026.
A second historic milestone will be celebrated the same day: the grand opening and blessing of the Taylor Catholic Student Center, named in honor of Mrs. Phyllis M. Taylor - a 1963 graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana, “USL.” In 2024, Mrs. Taylor made a historic gift dedicated to the preservation and advancement of our mission to Form UL Lafayette Students as Lifelong Disciples of Jesus Christ. I am tremendously grateful for her leadership and look forward to welcoming you to the new Taylor Catholic Student Center during our Welcome Home Week.
We hope that you will celebrate with us at the following events during our Dedication & Welcome Home Week.
